You should start now, even if you dont feel ready

Why you should start now, even if you don’t feel ready

Whether you think you’re ready or not, just start right now. There is magic in action.

We are not born knowing how to run. As we grow, we acquire skills. Some are necessary for us to be able to live like eating, reading, writing. Some skills are ‘good to have’. We acquire these skills as we need them. We dont really learn to sew a button until we need it.

If there is some goal you wish to achieve, you have to know that we all start from zero. You have everything you need right now to get started. It is easy to feel apprehensive. But just knowing that you have everything right now to get started is the first step. If you want to lose weight, you physically cannot lose all the weight in a week. You have to be able to trust the process, and put in the work. This part is definitely easier said than done. But you have to start even if you dont feel ready. Slowly you will learn to enjoy the process of learning new things, for example, knowing the calories in different types of foods, trying out new exercises.

Big huge enormous companies have started in a garage. We only see the final products of a successful company. We see millions of followers on youtube, hundreds of thousands of email list subscribers, perfectly manicured instagram posts with millions of likes and comments. Those guys started off with one video on youtube, one email, and one instagram post. Dont compare yourself with someone 10 years into what you want to do. You have to start somewhere.

Start even if you don’t feel ready. Don’t let it stop you from achieving your goals. Plan out the steps. break them down and only think about getting to the next step. and then the next one.

We are all in the middle of a process. We have a long story to write.
