Born in India, in 1988, my mum was always creating with her hands be it crochet, knitting, or sewing. after I finished college I moved to the US at the age of 21 to complete by Ph.D in biology. I started my online handmade store for crochet and knitted blanket in 2012. I ran it for about 4 years. In 2016, my husband and I decided to move to Australia. I completely changed my handmade store into a more profitable, sustainable source of income. I have had a chance to grow, change, tweak, and streamline my business. All this while having a full-time job.
The idea for ‘Planning over coffee’ is really a way for me to share my experience in developing, and managing a handmade business. I hope to share my strategies for a ‘work-life balance’, self care, routines, finances and much more.
